The future is diversity
With the installation of a UV curable printer, P.R. Graphics can now offer a complete printing solution.
The company, based in Birmingham was established in 1988 by Phil Rowley. Initially trading from his garage, the company now operates from a unit of over 5,000 square feet in Garrett’s Green.
P.R. Graphics currently has a production team with a wealth of experience that enables them to excel in the manufacture of signs and displays. P.R. Graphics will always ‘go that extra mile’ to meet customers deadlines and indeed exceed their expectations.
Working alongside stand designers and builders P.R. Graphics take the customer’s brief and work to the very highest levels of standard in both the manufacturing and installation. Having proven experience in the exhibition industry for many years the company can excel under pressure often providing solutions to any obstacles that arise.
Working with many blue chip companies P.R. Graphics has created a substantial portfolio in this respect. Previous customers such as AA, Harley Davidson, Triumph Motor Cycles and East Birmingham College, to mention a few, have always been exceptionally pleased with the high standard of work and this is a credit to P.R. Graphics as the company works mainly on referrals.
By focusing on its customers needs and continually re-assessing the very latest technology P.R. Graphics is able to offer a solution to all printed graphics. They offer a varied service: - printing medias such as voiles, carpet, eruofab, banners up to 5 metres wide, vehicle wrapping and identification, wall decors such as canvas prints, wall papers, posters mounted, sealed or framed, CNC routing of complex shapes and images, engraving in plastics and metals, exhibition stands, pop ups, flags, conference sets and banner stands.
Phil Rowley (the founder of P.R. Graphics) first became interested in digital printing 10 years ago but technology at the time proved to be unsatisfactory. However he has over the years compared the different machines on the market putting emphasis on quality and was recently impressed by the Cube 260 UV and to this end recently purchased this UV curable printer system from Grafityp UK Limited.
The wide-format Cube 260 UV takes this technology to a new level. The Cube is equipped with both flatbed and roll-to-roll media handling systems allowing for printing on a wide range of rigid and flexible medias.
The UV-curing inkjet printing system brings additional advantages compared to other digital inkjet systems. One of the most significant is the instant drying which occurs in the ink curing step. UV inks can be applied to far more media than water or solvent inks which increases the range of media that can be used without pre-treatment such as glass, steel, stone, wood etc which would be impossible with traditional inkjet printers.
The durability of the cured ink can eliminate the need for lamination to protect the surface.
By supporting the very latest technology P.R. Graphics are able to offer a solution for large format printing direct to media such as glass, ceramic tiles, Foamex, doors etc, and are impressed by the Cube 260 UV in many ways.
“It is quality built, and the touch screen is an ideal feature making it easy to use. The quality and speed of print is excellent and of course the competitive price was a key factor too!”
P.R. Graphics can offer a complete solution to large format printing and giant media whilst still offering all other printing solutions including creating breath-taking vinyl logos and signage. The possibilities are endless and there are absolutely no limitations. The key to the future is diversity and P.R. Graphics offer this to their customers.
