Printwear UK exhibition cancelled
Printwear UK, the new national event for the garment decorating industry, due to be held next month, has been cancelled. Commenting on the decision to withdraw the event, organiser Nick Carpenter said, "We arranged the exhibition following direct requests from the industry for us to do so. And although we had received a high level of companies agreeing to support the show, there were a few exhibitors who had booked large stands, but who were not prepared to either relinquish the stand space or sign a contract.
We are naturally disappointed that this led us to the decision it would be better to cancel the event, in fairness to the rest of the exhibiting companies should the handful of companies decide at the last minute not to attend and also to avoid any potential commercial issues that could have arisen.”
The organisers also confirmed that refunds are currently being made and that it is currently contacting and emailing all of the registered visitors to advise them that the event will not be taking place.
