The Fanshirt Brand, which is the offspring to a 50 year old clothing enterprise is now one of the most successful promo-fashion labels in Europe. The Quayside Group is planning to extend this further with its recent distributorship agreement.
Win a ski trip for two in Chamonix courtesy of FESPA
Printers who pre-register to attend FESPA Digital 2008 in Geneva before November 30th 2007 will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a ski trip for two after the exhibition to the beautiful nearby resort of Chamonix. The prize includes two days skiing and overnight accommodation.

Wow transfer paper continues to be a hit
The WoW transfer paper continues to impress the crowds, according to Jim Nicol, The Magictouch. Recently returning from SGIA, where the product was introduced, the company was overwhelmed by the interest it created. Commenting Jim told Printwear Today, “During the four day show we processed over 900 actual leads from clients requesting samples.”
Organic sponsorship
PAN UK has recently launched its mini-grant programme, Organic by Design. According to the organisation’s recent news letter, it is offering to support selected final year fashion design students who wish to use organic cotton as part of their graduate collection. The aim of the grant is to encourage and support students to showcase the creative potential for organic cotton products both in the academic arena and beyond it into the industry. There are up to ten grants available of £250 each.
B&P Graphic Systems simplifies textile printing
To cater for the growing number of companies wanting to output direct to fabrics, B&P Graphic Systems has introduced the D-gen Teleios textile printer. According to a press statement, this wide-format photo-realistic system is easy to use and doesn't involve a transfer process, thus making it a space-saving solution for the low-cost production of high quality applications including banners, flags and soft signs, clothing and wallpaper.

FESPA strengthens sales support
Nova Abbott has joined FESPA as sales executive, further building on the organisation’s sales support team, as it gains greater momentum on a number of new and exciting products and events. Based at the organisation’s headquarters in Reigate, Surrey, she will be reporting to managing director, Frazer Chesterman. FESPA has also appointed Katherine Parkhouse as sales administrator and credit controller to support the team.
